Murray State University will celebrate the completion of the Susan E. Bauernfeind Recreation and Wellness Center interior refresh project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, Aug. 17, at 5:30 p.m. in front of the facility, which is located at 1000 Racer Drive.
The Murray State University Office of Development reports more than $7.6 million in new documented commitments for future support and a record $13.9 million in cash gifts received from nearly 3,500 individual donors. The Murray State University Police Department has received $20,269 in grant funding as part of the Law Enforcement Protection Program through the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security, in order to continue to assist the department in serving the campus community.
