Animal Technology — Veterinary Technology Track
Are you interested in working with small, large and exotic animals? Murray State offers one of only 25 accredited programs in the country for a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology. (Our program has been fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association since 1986.) Get hands-on experience and master more than 200 skills that are essential in the field. We can also help you complete the necessary requirements to be admitted into one of the 30 veterinary colleges in the country.

Through this program, you’ll get plenty of experience before you graduate. All students are required to complete a 300-hour internship at an animal care facility. On top of that, you can join Veterinary Technology/Pre-Vet Club to learn even more.
