MURRAY, Ky. — The Murray State University School of Nursing and Health Professions is partnering with the American Heart Association for the Heart Ball Food Drive until May 1 to collect heart-healthy foods to benefit the Racers Helping Racers Food Pantry.
Donation drop-offs can be made from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in room 120 Mason Hall and room 408B North Applied Sciences Building, both on Murray State’s campus.
"This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting our students in multiple aspects,” said Murray State University Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions Dr. Dina Byers. “All donations from the Heart Ball Food Drive will go directly to our Racers Helping Racers food pantry, where they are available free of charge to Murray State students. By partnering with the American Heart Association, we’re not only addressing food insecurity on campus, but also ensuring students have access to nutritious, heart-healthy options that support their overall well-being and academic success."
