MSU extends scholarship acceptance deadline to June 1, 2024 for students entering in fall 2024

MURRAY, Ky. – The processing delays with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) have presented challenges for prospective students nationwide. In response to these challenges, Murray State University is extending its scholarship acceptance deadline to June 1, 2024, for students entering in fall 2024.

By extending the deadline, Murray State hopes to alleviate some of the stress associated with the FAFSA delays and provide families additional time to receive their financial aid offers.

Murray State encourages students to take advantage of this extended deadline to secure their scholarships via their myGate account and finalize their enrollment plans for the upcoming academic year. Once scholarships have been accepted at Murray State, the next step is for students to enroll in Racer Nation Orientation to secure their spot as a Racer. Incoming students are encouraged to register for this required event today at murraystate.edu/orientation as space for each orientation date is limited.
