Murray State University will host a Racer Day event on Saturday, Nov. 9

MURRAY, Ky. – Murray State University will host a Racer Day event on Saturday, Nov. 9 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Geared toward prospective students and families, the open-house style event will provide helpful information through sessions with recruitment and admissions staff, financial aid and scholarships, housing and more. Attendees can also attend a session with their academic area of interest and take a tour of campus, as well as that afternoon’s Racer football game. 

Students will have the opportunity to complete the on-site admission process and are encouraged to bring their official transcript and test scores.

Admission for the 2025-26 academic year at Murray State University is open as future Racers can apply today at admissions.murraystate.edu. Enrollment data indicates that Murray State’s fall 2024 freshman class is the fourth largest in the University’s history and the second largest in the past decade following last fall’s record-breaking freshmen enrollment, as well as the largest overall enrollment since 2016.
