Students to share research posters at the 20th annual Posters-at-the-Capitol event

MURRAY, Ky. — The 20th annual Posters-at-the-Capitol program is scheduled to take place in Frankfort, Kentucky on Thursday, Mar. 3 from 1-4 p.m. A total of 80 undergraduate students from all eight of the Commonwealth’s publicly-funded institutes of higher education have been selected to display their research posters, provide brief descriptions of their faculty-mentored research and answer questions.
The following 10 research projects crafted by the representing 10 Murray State undergraduate students have been selected to be displayed at the event:

With unique research projects on display, the event’s efforts are to help increase understanding of the important role undergraduate research plays in the education of college students among those responsible for higher education funding in the state of Kentucky. The event provides undergraduates the opportunity to engage in scholarly, research and creative works helping to promote an educational experience and professional development.
