MSU recognized by Niche, student reviews in numerous categories

MURRAY, Ky. – Murray State University has been recognized by Niche on its “2025 Best Colleges in Kentucky list” and ranks as the top public regional comprehensive university in Kentucky.

Murray State continues to be ranked highly by niche.com based on multiple factors with emphasis on academics, value, faculty engagement with students, campus quality and student life.

Recognized as one of America’s best college values, Murray State has been recognized nationally for both quality and value within the past month as a “Best Bang for the Buck” by Washington Monthly and one of the “Best Colleges in the United States” by the Wall Street Journal.

Preliminary enrollment data indicates that Murray State’s fall 2024 freshman class is the fourth largest in the University’s history and the second largest in the past decade following last fall’s record-breaking freshmen enrollment, as well as the largest overall enrollment since 2016.
