Campus Visits. On-campus visits including weekends, as well as virtual visits, are available. One of the most important parts in the decision-making process for prospective students is the campus tour. Individuals can schedule a visit at murraystate.edu/visit.
Applying for admission. Students can apply at murraystate.edu/admissions. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis, but students are encouraged to apply early for priority review.
Scholarships. Visit murraystate.edu/scholarships to learn more; admitted students can apply for scholarships via their myGate account. Last year, Murray State awarded $115 million in scholarships, grants, waivers and other financial aid. The General Scholarship Application Deadline for 2021-2022 is 4:30 p.m. CST on February 1, 2021.
Housing. Admitted students should complete the housing application via their myGate account as soon as possible. Additional information on housing is available at murraystate.edu/housing.
Complete the FAFSA. Students should apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Use Murray State code: 001977.
Admitted Student Kickoff event. Held virtually on February 5 and 6, 2021, admitted students and their families can learn more about life at Murray State through a mainly virtual event and experience. Students can be the first to register for Racer Nation Orientation 2021 and meet virtually with many areas on campus such as Student Financial Services, Housing and campus organizations.
A limited number of in-person, on-campus tours will be available.
Admitted students are encouraged to register today at murraystate.edu/admitted for one of three admitted student kickoff virtual sessions:
Session 1 - Friday, February 5th from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Session 2 - Saturday, February 6th from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Session 3 - Saturday, February 6th from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
