"Being a teaching assistant, mentor, tutor, and outreach ambassador with the EES Department has given me a passion for environmental education that I will carry with me to my doctorate program and beyond. I never expected to find myself in a STEM field - much less love it - but the Environmental Science program at Murray State has really showed me that there's a path for everyone. I am very grateful for the education and support I have received during my time here and I can't wait to offer that same love of learning and support to my future students."
