Visit Campus

Murray State campus visits are for everyone!

We have programs and tours geared toward First Time Freshmen, Transfer, Graduate and International students.  Please click on the appropriate link below to register for the type of visit designed specifically for you.  

Through the Racer Restart initiative and planning process, Murray State University will follow a collaborative, thoughtful and proactive approach in re-opening campus, including Campus Visits.   

First Time Freshmen

Walk-in Visitors Cannot be Accommodated at This Time.  

So that we can offer the safest, most positive campus visit experience, registration is required.  If you arrive and do not have a scheduled appointment, you will be offered a campus map and given the opportunity for a self-guided tour.

Types of  Campus Visits

Because we are limited in the number of guests we can have on campus; we are currently offering two types of visits.  Both types of visits offer the same information.  You will be able speak with a member of the recruitment team who will be able to discuss admission requirements, financial aid and scholarship information, housing and dining and so much more.  You will be able to take a campus tour and you can request to meet with an academic area of interest; either in person or virtually.

Virtual Campus Visits 

Learn about our campus in the comfort and convenience of your own home.

• Sign up for a one-on-one meeting via Zoom.  
• Request a virtual academic meeting with a professor from your area of interest.  
• Take a Virtual Tour (see below)

After you register for a virtual visit, you will receive an email with a link for your meeting. You will need a smartphone, computer or tablet with a webcam and microphone to participate in a Zoom session. 

On-Campus Visits 

On-campus visits will be limited and will fill up quickly.

 Visits are limited to the number of visitors per time slot, limited entry into buildings and visitors must follow Racer Restart Principles and Strategies. 

University closures and dates with limited schedule

Dates the University is Open, but Running on Limited Schedule
 The university will be open but classes will not be in session. There will be very few students on campus. We will host campus visits, but it will be difficult to get academic appointments. Appointment times will be 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. only.
