The Shoe Tree near Pogue Library — The Shoe Tree is an ongoing tradition for couples who met at Murray State and went on to get married.

My husband, Dawson, and I both attend Murray state and chose the university together. We started dating in high school, and chose to continue our undergraduate careers as Racers, together. After our freshman year, we got married and have almost completed our degrees. He will graduate in December of 2020, and I will graduate in May of 2021. Murray State is home to us and we wouldn’t have gotten to where we are if it weren’t for MSU!
