  • Numerous Online Courses Available. A total of 230 online courses are available this summer. Enjoy the convenience of completing classes from the comfort of home! Simply select 'Class Schedules' when clicking on the summer course schedule and select 'Web' in the 'Instructional Method' field to view available online courses.
  • Smaller Class Sizes. Summer courses are typically smaller in class size when compared to the traditional academic year.
  • Potential Pell Grant eligibility. Contact the Financial Aid office at 270.809.2546 to determine eligibility.

30/60/90 Credit hour incentive

Degree-seeking undergraduate students who are within three credit hours of reaching the goal of 30, 60 or 90 hours of course credit following the Spring 2019 term, have an opportunity to take one summer course offered at Murray State (course must be at least three credit hours) and have their tuition and mandatory fees waived for one credit hour.

Full details of 30/60/90 incentive

 
  1. Undergraduate tuition and mandatory fees for one hour of only one Summer 2019 course is waived. The course must be at least a three credit hour course.
  2. This applies to the Summer 2019 sessions for degree-seeking students who are within one to three hours of achieving 30, 60 or 90 hours of college credit at the end of the Spring 2019 term.
  3. Any web fees associated with an online course are not waived.
  4. All course fees associated with the course are not waived.
  5. Students should contact Financial Aid (270.809.2546) or sfa@murraystate.edu regarding Summer financial aid eligibility.
  6. Until final grades for Spring 2019 are posted, the one-hour credit will not be waived to ensure the eligibility for this opportunity has been met.
  7. Eligibility to receive the one-hour waiver will be determined by the number of earned credit hours (excludes audits, failing grades and incompletes) posted on the student's academic record on the first day of the summer course.
