Some courses may have specific technical requirements. Please contact the instructor before class if you have questions. Visit our Support Site for specific technical requirements.
All texts and instructional materials are furnished by the student. Most texts may be purchased directly from the publishing companies or the Murray State University Bookstore. Used books are sometimes available at the Murray State Bookstore. You are encouraged to call them at (270) 809-4388 or (800) 749-8580, or you may order your text online at the Bookstore’s website. Phone and online orders may be paid for with a credit card and books will be shipped directly to you.
- Course Procedures
Once you are enrolled, go to the Racers Online website to see instructions on how to get started with your online course. (Note that not all instructors post their information here.) Instructors publish their courses on Canvas at different times, so check the site often. Check your RacerMail account regularly as all official communication from the university will be sent to this address.
- Transcripts of College Credit
As a student completes a course, his/her record will be sent to Murray State’s Admissions and Registrar’s Office and added to their official transcript. Students can view their grades on myGate. If a student wants credit transferred, he/she must order a transcript. Visit the Registrar's website for information on how to order transcripts.
