All children, ages 8-12, are invited to attend Young Authors Camp on the campus of Murray State University. The goal of this camp is for participants to write for fun. Young authors will practice a variety of styles (poetry, fictional stories, true stories, essays, skits, etc.) under the direction of experienced teachers from the region, who will serve as writing coaches, consultants and as traditional classroom instructors. The camp registration fee covers all camp materials, instruction, and activities.  Young authors will need to bring their own lunch and swim gear each day.
