Accelerate in Agriculture
The Accelerated BS/BSA + MS in HSOA allows qualified students to complete requirements for a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Master of Science in Agriculture in five years (or 139 credit hours).
Upon completion of 90 hours of coursework and a 3.0 GPA toward the BS in Agriculture, qualified undergraduate students may apply for admission to the Accelerate program in Agriculture.
Students who qualify may enroll in a maximum of 12 hours of graduate courses. The accelerate courses must be confirmed by my RACER degree audit and replace those required undergraduate course work.
Upon completing 120 hours, including the appropriate accelerated course requirements, the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree will be awarded.
Approval forms
Fill out the HSOA Accelerate Application Form with your advisor, then return to Dr. Guffey; Await for final approval from the registrars office and then schedule a meeting with financial aid to go over the approved coursework. Once you have all signatures on the form return to Dr. Guffey.
Complete the Accelerated Graduate Program Course Registration Worksheet. This form will be completed after you have been approved for the program. This worksheet must be done each semester that you are in the program. Make sure you have the CRN ready for each course you will be taking. The registrar's office will register you for the graduate level courses.
