Mathematics/Pre-MBA Area

This area program is designed primarily for students that anticipate entering a graduate finance, economics or management (MBA) program in the future, and wish to get an excellent mathematical foundation for it.

  • MGT 350 Fundamentals of Management
  • MKT 360 Principles of Marketing
  • STA 253 Introduction to StatisticaI Data Analysis
  • STA 440 Mathematical Statistics I
  • STA 465 Applied Statistics I

Required Limited Electives: 12 hrs
Chosen from:

  • MAT 338 Ordinary Differential Equations, or
  • courses from MAT or STA 400-599

Co-requirement: 3 hrs
