Alice and George Kipphut Sr. Scholarship

Eligibility requirements include:

• Full-time junior or senior students
• Students pursuing degrees in earth and environmental sciences
• Overall GPA of 2.9 or above on a 4.0 scale

Clyde Reed-Jim Smith Scholarship

Eligibility requirements include:

• Full-time junior or senior students
• Students pursuing degrees in geosciences
• Recipient must take at least one geosciences course each semester of award
• 3.0 GPA in geosciences coursework with a 2.85 GPA overall

Matthai-Panzera Scholarship

Eligibility requirements include:

• Full-time incoming first-year student in geosciences
• Must enroll in EES 101 during first semester
• Renewable with a 2.5 overall GPA and a 3.0 geosciences GPA

John E. and Ann N. Wesler Scholarship for Field Schools

Eligibility requirements include:

• First-time Murray State field school participant
• Geosciences major or minor in the geosciences, anthropology or archaeology tracks
• Must have completed ARC 105: Introduction to Archaeology
• 3.0 geosciences GPA and 2.5 overall GPA
• GPA must be maintained in semester prior to field school
• Must submit a brief essay on need/merit for scholarship

• Maintain a 3.0 GPA
