Strategic Plan
In 2018, the College of Humanities and Fine Arts began the work to develop a strategic plan to assist with leading us into the future. This blueprint of our desires, thoughts, actions, and progress was created by a faculty- and staff-led task force consisting of ten stakeholders. There were multiple meetings and many opportunities for input from the faculty and staff at large as the task force moved through their process.
The process identified the following value statements for the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. All statements are considered equally important.
Queries put to the faculty and staff concerning the outcomes and concerns addressed by the strategic plan and the value statements had a sixty-one percent (61%) response rate. This large, and heavily invested group of faculty and staff identified the areas which are the focus for the college’s strategic plan. Those areas are: academic opportunities, student success, innovative pathways and community connections.
