Organizations

There are plenty of ways to get involved in the Department of Organizational Communication and Leadership. Join the Lambda Pi Eta or Omicron Sigma Kappa honors societies. Share your voice in the Speech and Debate Union. Help other students with developing and presenting presentations in the Racer Oral Communication Center. Pick and choose or join them all.

Lambda Pi Eta Honors Society 

Students with a 3.5 GPA or higher can join the department's honor society. Lambda Pi Eta is a nationally recognized communication honor society. Murray State's chapter provides communication coaching and community service. Contact Dr. Geoffrey Luurs at gluurs@murraystate.edu for more information. 

Omicron Sigma Kappa Honors Society 

Murray State's Omicron Sigma Kappa is a student organization designed to foster leadership development and provide networking opportunities for organizational communication students. Any enrolled organizational communication major or minor at Murray State University, including graduate students, is eligible for membership. Racer Oral Communication Center

Murray State created a Racer Oral Communication Center in the fall of 2011. The center assists students with developing and presenting professional presentations. Visit their website for more information.

Speech and Debate Union
