Travel Support Grants
ORCA has funds available to assist full-time enrolled undergraduate and graduate students in support of travel to present, perform, or exhibit their faculty-mentored research or creative activity at off-campus professional conferences or gatherings.
Travel awards provide a maximum total of $800 per individual student per academic year. Exceptions may be considered for groups of presenting students (up to $1,200 total), if each student is listed in official documentation. No more than one travel grant will be awarded toward the student in the same academic year.
Travel arrangements should be made at the departmental level. Funding will be distributed by reimbursement from ORCA to the campus department the student arranges their travel with. A copy of documentation (letter/email/website screenshot) that confirms acceptance of the presentation, performance, or exhibition must be included with proposals.
An on-campus presentation or publication related to the work is expected, either as a Scholars Week presentation or the deposit of a related paper, poster, or presentation to Steeplechase.
If travel is required to conduct research, please submit for a Research Grant.

Travel Grant proposals must be submitted on Digital Commons.
