Student employment

Reminder: You must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at Murray State University and have a valid Social Security number to be eligible to be employed as a Facilities Management student worker. ESL students cannot be employed by Facilities Management, but are welcome to apply when they have finished the ESL program and enroll in at least 6 hours of Murray State University courses. Although student workers are scheduled in specific areas, all students are hired as general employees and will be asked to work in other positions as needed to accommodate the service needs of our department.
Please list present and most recent employers. This includes voluntary work.
Be detailed. Provide all hours you would be available to work, noting the times you would prefer to work. We will assume the times you provide are when you will be able to actually clock in and out, so please allow time for traveling to and from classes, home or other activities. Consider all other activities carefully. This availability may be the basis of a schedule to be in effect the entire summer.
Once you are hired, you are expected to work every day, and time off not requested at the start may not be approved.
