The Department of Applied Health Sciences is dedicated
to preparing professionals in the areas of Athletic Training, Communication Disorders, Exercise Science ( Pre-OT, Pre-PA, Pre-PT, Wellness), and Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Management. Students will prepare for careers in allied health by participating in didactic and experiential learning that utilize critical thinking and interpersonal skills. The faculty and staff in the department strive to be sensitive to social and ethical issues and are committed to the education of those they serve. Faculty in the
department are highly educated in their respective fields and devoted
to teaching aspiring professionals.
