Transfer Students

Transfer Scholarship

Beginning with the fall 2018 awards, the Transfer Scholarship will be awarded as funds are available to first-time transfer students from Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Tennessee who have a 3.25 transferable GPA and 45 or more transferable hours. The Transfer Scholarship is a non-refundable scholarship that can be applied to direct costs (tuition, campus housing, campus meal plan, or University Bookstore textbook charges) at Murray State.  Students must be enrolled in full-time hours (at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester) at Murray State University in order to use the Transfer Scholarship.

Transfer students are also encouraged to complete the competitive scholarship application annually. For more information on those deadlines, click "Apply Here for Scholarships".

All undergraduate students must file and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to receive any university scholarships and/or discounts.
