In June 2017, Murray State University’s (MSU) Board of Regents and the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) granted approval to begin a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program. The next step in the process is the submission of a candidacy application to the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) due in August 2017. ACOTE will announce the decision for approval of the program in December 2017. If approved by ACOTE, MSU will begin accepting applications for the program in January 2018. Students will be notified of acceptance into the program in April of 2018. Classes for the Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy program will begin in June, 2018. The OT graduate program will be housed at the Paducah Regional Campus in Paducah, Kentucky.
