Coops & Internships

The Institute of Engineering recognizes an internship or co-op as an experience-rich activity to meet the objectives of Murray State University’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) – Bring Learning to Life. The Institute of Engineering is committed to providing qualified, industry-ready students to regional industry partners. We believe experiential learning opportunities, such as an internship or co-op, are invaluable to student learning and career development and each student is required to complete at least one internship or co-op to meet graduation requirements.
