Welcome to the Murray State University Racer Academy. The Racer Academy is designed for high school juniors and seniors. With educational expenses rising at many colleges and universities, students may wish to take advantage of opportunities to lower these costs. High school students can realize substantial savings by taking advantage of dual credit courses as well as, on-line and on-campus courses offered by Murray State University.
Many area high schools participate in Murray State’s dual credit program, whereby students are able to receive college credit and also have that credit count for high school work. High school students may also concurrently enroll in MSU, with permission of their high school guidance counselor and parents, during their junior and senior years in high school. Concurrent enrollment allows high school students to pursue on-line or on-campus opportunities.
Students should follow the advice of their high school counselors in determining appropriate class loads, considering high school and college class schedules, tests scores, previous academic and non-academic records, and non-academic activities. Students can check with their respective high school counselors and the MSU Office of Recruitment for more information about these opportunities.
