GRE class: McNair Scholars are provided preparation for the Graduate Record Exam through a one-hour credit class open only to McNair scholars. The course and class materials are free to scholars.

Senior Camp: McNair scholars attend a Senior Camp in the summer before their last year of school. The four day camp is designed to prepare scholars for the graduate school application process by providing information about the application process, graduate school funding options, writing a personal statement, and resume building.

School visits: The McNair Program provides funding for scholars to visit graduate programs to assist the scholars in making decisions about graduate school application. The scholars have an opportunity to meet faculty and administrators in their field of study, visit the campus and talk to other graduate students.
