Leadership on the Road

Emerging Leaders
Emerging Leaders is the initial Student Leadership Program designed for Murray State Freshmen.  Emerging Leaders introduces participants to leadership through educational sessions, activities, and discussions.  Some topics that Emerging Leaders will cover include:
  • Leadership Fundamentals
  • Communication
  • Goals
  • Diversity
  • Personal Wellness
  • Service

Emerging Leaders will meet on Wednesdays from 7:30 pm - 8:30/9:00 pm during the fall semester.  There is no cost to participate in the Emerging Leaders program.

Participants are chosen by application and a group of 25-30 students will be chosen.  Applications can be emailed to editty@murraystate.edu or dropped off in the Center for Student Involvement (First Floor of the Curris Center).

Leadership On The Road
Every Leadership on the Road workshop will be presented by Evan Ditty, Coordinator of Greek Life and Student Leadership Programs, and Courtney Bell, Student Leadership Programs Graduate Assistant.

There will be a selection of 5 topics regarding leadership from which every organization can choose only one. Each workshop is 1 hour and the registration form must be completed two weeks in advance.

Leadership on the Road's mission is to equip and edify every individual with leadership opportunities and skills so they may stand out in a crowd and become an elite leader not only on campus, but in the community as well. Plant the Seeds for a brighter future.
