I-9 Form-Instructions
Every student who is hired by the MSU Housing Office is required to complete Section #1 of the Federal I-9 Form within 2 business days of being offered employment. In addition, to be eligible for employment a Federal I-9 Form must be submitted to the MSU Housing Office along with the appropriate documents listed on page 4 of this form. Failure to comply may result in the employment offer being rescinded.
Resident Advisor
The Resident Advisor (RA) role is one of the most comprehensive student leadership positions available on campus. The RA position is challenging, rewarding, and makes a significant impact on the lives of the residents. It involves many varied roles and responsibilities. RAs create a community on their floors, which offer a variety of programs to help students learn about themselves and others. RAs encourage residents to make good choices, experience diversity first hand, and grow from challenges. By applying, you are taking the first step toward becoming a Resident Advisor.

Residence Director
Murray State University is a regional university. It is a residential campus located in the Jackson Purchase area close to the Tennessee Valley Authority lake region. The enrollment is approximately 10,000 with 3,000 students living in the residential colleges and 144 student apartments operated by the Department of Housing and Residence Life. The city of Murray, with a population of 15,000 is located approximately fifty miles from Paducah, Kentucky. The Residence Director (RD) is a graduate assistantship in the department of Housing/Residence Life. The RD lives in the residential college and is responsible for supervision of staff and administrative duties associated with managing a residential college and helping develop a positive living environment.
