The residential colleges will be closing for the summer on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 9am.  The Summer Interim Housing period begins on Saturday, May 10 and concludes on Monday, May 26.  Residents who are enrolled in classes during the first 2-week summer school session that begins on Monday, May 12 do not need to complete this Summer Interim Housing Form; however, if housing is needed during this time a Summer School Housing Application is required.  The first 5-week summer school session begins on Tuesday, May 27.
  
Lee Clark, Regents and White are our three interim facilities and will remain open for students needing housing during this time.

Current residents of Lee Clark, Regents and White will be allowed to remain in their current room; however, residents must submit this form, notifying the Housing Office of their intentions of remaining on campus during the interim period.

Residents of Elizabeth, Franklin, Hart, Old Richmond (Hester), James H. Richmond and Springer will be asked to relocate to a temporary assignment in another facility.  Residents of these colleges are expected to check-out of their permanent space by Saturday, May 10 at 9am.  Residents must complete the check-out process with their Resident Advisor or an appropriate staff member.  All personal belongings must be removed at this time.

Interim Housing Rate - $12 per night

Please Note: The first 5-week summer school session begins on Tuesday, May 27. Residents MUST be enrolled in summer classes and must have submitted a Summer School Housing Application to remain on campus beyond Monday, May 26.
1) Our ability to provide interim housing is contingent upon the availability of space. In addition to submitting this form, it is recommended that you also explore other interim housing alternatives, such as staying with family or friends who live off-campus, just in case there are no available spaces on-campus.
2) Accepting a key and/or signing an interim key card constitutes binding acceptance of this interim housing agreement. The student shall be responsible for payment of $12 per night that they have indicated they will be staying on-campus during the interim period.
3) You must follow all University policies and regulations as you would during the school year. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to vacate the premises.
4) Current residents of Elizabeth, Franklin, Hart, Old Richmond (Hester), James H. Richmond and Springer are expected to check-out of their permanent space by Saturday, May 10 at 9am. You must complete the check-out process with your Resident Advisor or an appropriate staff member. You must take all of your personal belongings to your temporary interim assignment. Failure to check-out with an appropriate staff member could result in an additional charge between $25-$150 being assessed to your student account.
5) Current residents of Lee Clark, Regents and White must complete the check-out process with a Resident Advisor or an appropriate staff member at the conclusion of their interim housing stay. All personal items must be removed at this time. Failure to check-out with an appropriate staff member could result in an additional charge between $25-$150 being assessed to your student account.
6) Residents relocating to a temporary space are expected to check-out with a staff member at the conclusion of their stay. Failure to do so will result in a $25 failure to check-out fee and a $75 lock change fee being assessed to your student account.
7) If you are employed by the University and will be working over the interim period, your supervisor will need to contact the Housing Office confirming your work status - msu.housing@murraystate.edu.
