Residential College Contract - All residents living on campus will sign their residential college contract at the residence hall they have been assigned to as part of the check in process. Please click on the link provided to review the contract prior to arriving to campus.
Spring 2014 On Campus Housing Cancellation Form - Deadline to cancel and receive a full refund of your housing deposit, minus any fees owed to the University, is December 2, 2013.
Thanksgiving Interim Housing Form -
Our residence halls will be closing for the Thanksgiving break on Wednesday, November 27 at 9am. The halls will reopen on Sunday, December 1 at 2pm. Please note that there is an additional charge of $12 per night for staying on campus during the break. Regents, White and Lee Clark will remain open for students who need to remain on campus.
ALL OF OUR TEMPORARY HOUSING SPACES HAVE BEEN RESERVED FOR THE THANKSGIVING BREAK. WE CAN ONLY ACCOMMODATE THOSE RESIDENTS WHO CURRENTLY LIVE IN REGENTS, WHITE OR LEE CLARK. RESIDENTS NEEDING TO STAY IN MURRAY DURING THE BREAK ARE ENCOURAGED TO FIND ALTERNATE HOUSING OFF CAMPUS.
Christmas/Winter Break Interim Housing Form -
Our residence halls will be closing for the Christmas/Winter break on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 9am. The halls will reopen on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Please note that there is an additional charge of $12 per night for staying on campus during the break. If space is available and we are able to provide you housing during this time, the appropriate additional charge will be applied directly to your student account. Regents, White and Lee Clark will remain open for students who need to remain on campus.
Residents who live in Elizabeth, Franklin, Hart, Old Richmond, James H. Richmond or Springer, are strongly encouraged to make alternate arrangements off campus during this time. Temporary housing is extremely limited and preference will be given to those residents who need to stay on campus for the entire break.
Request a Change to Your On-Campus Housing Assignment!
* Deadline to request a change to your on-campus housing assignment (new room and/or roommate) for the Spring 2014 semester was Friday, November 15 (end of business day - 4:30pm). Our room change request forms will be reposted in January 2014 after the spring semester begins.
In-College Move Request
For residents wishing to change rooms and/or roommates within their current residence hall. All individuals involved MUST currently reside in the same building.
College to College Move Request
For individuals wishing to be reassigned to a different residence hall.
Also, for individuals wanting to remain in their present residence hall, but requesting to room with someone currently living in another facility. Individuals interested in College Courts please contact the Housing Office.
Private Room Request
Request for a private room may be submitted for any of our residence halls; however private rooms are only granted as space permits.
Request for Housing Reasonable Accommodation Form
Form includes instructions for proper completion and submission. Please note that supporting medical documentation may be required.
Housing Exemption Forms
On-Campus Housing Exemption Application
Required for freshmen or sophomores wishing to commute daily from their parents' home (within a 50 mile radius of the University). The On-Campus Housing Exemption Application must be submitted ALONG with the Housing Exemption Agreement of Understanding Form and the Notary Form. All appropriate forms must be submitted to the MSU Housing Office through fax, mail, or in person.
- Must be signed by the parent in the presence of a notary. Notaries are available in the MSU Housing Office.

Faculty and Staff Housing Discount Letter
Murray State University faculty and staff are eligible to receive a $100 discount (offer available each semester - excluding summer terms) on their son/daughter's residential college room rent.
