Seventy-four percent of teachers within the 18-county Western Kentucky region are graduates of Murray State University due to the priceless academic opportunities offered by the College of Education and Human Services. Our department and programs span a variety of disciplines from elementary education, communication disorders to criminal justice. In fact, more than 1,500 Murray State students are engaged with our departments, with about 1,000 of those having already declared education as their major.
Murray State began as a teaching college and has built upon this foundation over the years with several esteemed accreditations.
