Young Artist Competition
Held in February, the Young Artist Concerto Competition showcases the best young musicians in grades 9-12 from Kentucky and surrounding states. Two divisions--one for pianists and one for instrumentalists--hold auditions to choose a winner who receives a scholarship and the opportunity to perform with the PSO at one of their season concerts. This competition is held in conjunction with Murray State University and sponsored by Coca-Cola and Jackson Purchase Energy.
