Tips
A smart student would make sure he/she is well-known (for the right
reasons!) by his/her professors. There are many ways you can make your
mark - good grades, being active in student clubs, taking leadership
roles when possible, being a student ambassador etc.
The department has forged a partnership with a job placement service
(Aftercollege.com) that allows us to list local jobs and view their
list on our site. Jobs notified through the grape-vine are posted here.
These requests come directly to our Faculty and Chair. If you register,
you get a listing of jobs in the area every month or so. The link is
called "Job Resource center".
Also, don't under-estimate our very own Career Services. They have been
very effective in placing our graduates. (MSU E-recruiting link on
