Owensboro Staff:

Lois Decker, Center Director

Lois Decker is a former entrepreneur who operated a financial consulting business. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brescia University. She uses her business ownership experience and her accounting degree to help clients prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and clean-up inaccurate statements.

“Financing is a huge challenge for business owners. If they don’t have a solid business plan and financial projections they are going to have a difficult time securing funding. I will help them develop the business plan and projections. More importantly, I’ll help them understand their financial statements and why accurate statements are so important to operating a successful business.”

Tricia Hudson, Administrative Assistant

Tricia has been assisting clients at the SBDC for over 20 years. She is often the first point of contact at the SBDC and will direct clients to the appropriate resources. Tricia has an Associates Degree in Legal Secretarial Administration from Western Kentucky University.

“The most rewarding part of my job is seeing clients become so successful that they return to the SBDC to get assistance with expansion.”
