Welcome to Murray State University Athletic Training Education Program. Our goal is to provide the athletic training student both the didactic (classroom) knowledge and the clinical experience to pass the BOC (Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer) Exam and become a successful entry-level health care professional in a variety of settings. Our faculty members present the most current and relevant information, supplying the tools needed to develop the student's clinical decision making skills.

Athletic training students at MSU may also simultaneously complete the prerequisites to apply for graduate studies in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and/or health care professions. Students who are interested in pursuing this path should contact the Program Director as soon as possible. There is no guaranteed admittance into graduate school by completing these prerequisites, as each student is responsible for meeting each graduate school's requirements and successfully completing the admission process.

Begin a rewarding career in health care today, by applying the the Murray State University Athletic Training Education Program. If you want to learn more about the Program, please contact Jeremy Erdmann (Program Director) at jerdmann@murraystate.edu  or (270)-809-4517, to schedule a visit or obtain more information about the program.
