It is the policy of Murray State University, in conjunction with the Office of Environmental Safety and Health, to train at risk employees initially and continually, in the proper techniques of material handling. Training, designed to protect employees from sprains, strains and pulled muscles caused by improper lifting, poor material handling techniques and/or unhealthy backs, should empower employees.
