Chemistry Major with Biochemistry Option

Schedule electives to satisfy university studies requirements. A total of 122 semester hours is required for the baccalaureate degree. b A biology minor is strongly recommended. BIO 115, 216 and 221 or 222 are required for the minor. “BIOxxx” can be almost any biology course at the 300 level or above. Recommended biology courses supporting the biochemistry major include BIO 300, 320, 321, 322,323, 333 and 421.
