Summer Art Workshop (S.A.W.)

Murray State University has an exciting new selection of classes for this year's summer art workshop.  S.A.W. is a hands-on workshop that will cover elements of art and explore four distinctly different mediums in one week's time.  Students work independently and collaboratively to produce one-of-a-kind works of art and expand their knowledge of studio and art history.

This year's workshop will focus on sculpture, drawing, jewelry and metalsmithing.  Students will spend a day in each area where they will complete a piece of work based on demonstrations done in class.  In the art history component of the workshop, students will attend a lecture on art history, then view work on exhibit at Murray State University.
