Exercise Science

Wellness |Pre- Health Professional  | Professional Organizations | Faculty

A Bachelor of Science degree with an Area in Exercise Science includes programs designed for students with an interest in health promotion, wellness, fitness, strength and conditioning, and those interested in pursuing graduate programs in exercise science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, or other health professions.  Students declaring an Area in Exercise Science choose a track in  Wellness, or Pre-Health Professional.  Persons interested in the program must possess good academic skills, be interested in science and disease prevention, and enjoy working with people.  
 

The Exercise Science program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org ) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences.
