Costs for College Courts
A $150 deposit is required with the apartment application. The deposit assures the applicant's keeping the reservation unless written cancellation is received by the Housing Office by June 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester. The monthly rental rate is subject to change by the Murray State Board of Regents.
The current monthly rates are $450 for a one-bedroom and $540 for a two-bedroom apartment. All normal utilities are included in the rent, including local telephone service. The tenants must arrange their own long distance telephone service. All apartments also come with extended cable featuring approximately 80 channels. The deposit will be refunded when the resident moves from the apartment, less any charges due to MSU, if thirty (30) days notice is given.
