Professional Experience Prior to MSU:

Federal police officer, criminal investigator, senior security manager and risk management consultant. Taught at the National Police Academy of South Africa and the Institute for Criminology at the University of South Africa and was a security and criminal justice professor at Northern Michigan University, Wichita State University, Washburn University (Kansas) and East Carolina University.
